A Poem About a Mockingbird

The Mockingbird
by Maurice Lesemann

The mocking bird is the talkingest bird

That ever you’ll meet in the month of May.

He teeters and tauters high in the tree,

And he talks all night and he talks all day.

He hardly ever has time to sing

Because of having so much to say.

absolutely love ~ especially the first photo ~ great capture!
These are gorgeous photos, Doris! I particularly like the first two, with the tail wrapped underneath the feeder!
@fwren - @slmret - Thanks. The first two were my favorite as well, and I considered using only them, but I thought the entire set told a bit of a story.
