A Question ~ A Storm
And Visiting Our Niece Juanita
Guess what these black "spots" are.
I will let you know the answer tomorrow.
Last Tuesday, September 18, we had a real downpour.
I enjoy rain - as long as it's not accompanied by high winds.
This was just heavy rain that pounded on our windows.
On Thursday evening we went to Velda (right) and Mel's house (she is Cerwin's sister) to visit our niece Juanita (blue top) who was visiting from Indiana. Velda's daughter-in-law, Gabi, is watching as she takes a picture of Jeremy.
It was Jeremy's turn to take care of a "baby" for several days. Every school student has to do this.
The baby was crying so Jeremy had to find his problem. It needed its diaper changed and wanted a bottle of milk.
We enjoy visiting with Juanita as she has a positive, vibrant personality.
This photo had a glare on it so I played around with some special effects.

Are they blackbirds heading south? Juanita looks like so much fun.
Lovely pictures. Like the one of Jeremy taking care of "the baby." Juanita looks like a fun lady. glad you had a good time together. Are the black things birds? Hard to tell. Love the special effects of the last picture. Hope the rest of your week is a great one.
I am gonna say those things are flies, gnats, stink bugs, or some other bugs!
I'm guessing flies.
My guess is flies too. What is behind "taking care of the baby"?
@myhopeisinjesus - It is a school program that is teaching young people the responsibility of caring for a baby. The teachers can even tell if they let the baby cry too long. The night we were there, it began crying, but the bottle did not satisfy it, so he changed his diaper, and that solved the babies problem.
Some kind of migrating pest, I expect ~ and the special effect is rather cool ~
My guess would have been bugs too. Could be something like seeds from a bird feeder too, blown there by the wind?
Cerwin's sister looks like him.
@ata_grandma - @ShadesOfAnnie - @GodsDucks - @loaine - @myhopeisinjesus - @fwren - @mcbery - They are stink bugs on our living room screen. You each had good guesses.
Jeremy rides my bus in the afternoon! He's a good kid; actually, I feel blessed to have (mostly!) good kids on all 3 bus runs.
@SchweSchwe - He is a good kid.
