The Quilts
Brethren Disaster Relief Auction – Part 5
September 21 & 22
These booklets contained the quilt listing.
This was the highest selling quilt.
It sold one time for $2,000.00. The winning bidder said, “Sell it again.” It brought $1,700.00 the second time, making a total of $3,700.00.
Enjoy!

Sigh. . . that’s all I have to say!
What does Sell it Again entail?
@piecedtreasures - That is how I feel, and I am not a quilter.
@Baseballchik138 - That means the first winning bidder did not want the quilt, but wanted to donate his bid – $2,000.00 in this case. When he said, “Sell it again”, the auction for the quilt started over again. This time the winning bidder wanted to keep it.
Seeing quilts just stirs my soul. So beautiful. You didn’t have to tell me twice to enjoy your pictures!!
Oh, that highest selling quilt is so beautiful ~ very unusual ~
@ColeenSr - I thought you would enjoy these pictures.
@fwren - It was unusual and beautifully stitched.
The quilts are lovely! I have a thing for quilts and these are so beautiful!
