Sunrise
&
Family Meals
We have been enjoying many beautiful sunrises and sunsets in recent weeks.
After Cerwin left for work at the TFC shop on Monday (January 21), he called to make sure I didn’t miss the beautiful sunrise.

Elizabeth, our oldest granddaughter, has been here from Maine since early January, but has not had the opportunity to spend much time with her aunts, uncles, and cousins, so we made that happen this week.
Elizabeth did the cooking and invited Jeff and Chris and their family for supper on Tuesday evening.

Cerwin, Jeff, Chris, Jordan, Elizabeth, Diana, and Gloria.
We don’t often have just one family at a time, eat in the dining area of our kitchen, and use our good dinnerware.
The toppings for the salad were fruit and nuts.
Chicken Cordon Bleu was the main dish.
Jere and Kristen’s family was here on Wednesday night: Cerwin, Jesse, Ian, Jared, Kristen, Elizabeth, Jana, and Jere.
Roy, Jared, Cerwin, Elizabeth, Josiah, Josh, Jesse, Deb, and Jana.
Due to distance it didn’t work out for Roy and Deb to come during the week, so we met them at Infinitos Pizza. We had Jere and Kristen’s children today, so they were also included in the pizza buffet – which everyone enjoyed. (Ian was at a Sunday school class activity.)
We always enjoy seeing what Jesse chooses at a buffet.

I love our family!

I love your family too — how nice that you were able to see them one family at a time for dinner with Elisabeth!
@slmret - It was fun to visit – one family at a time. Thanks for loving our family.
The buffet with family you love looks wonderful. Love those big blue eyes of Jesse!
He reminds me of some of my nephews. Maybe, way back, we are related somehow.
@mcbery - I am sure we are related if we go back far enough.
WOW! Those skies are incredible! I can see lovely sunrises from my kitchen windows, but the sun sets behind a group of tall buildings which make it difficult to see. One of these days I will talk my husband into driving me someplace flat and building free so I can get some more pics!
@DanishDoll - We are blessed to be able to see both – sunrise and sunset. The sunrises outside our living room window – I face it from my seat in the La-Z-boy. The sun sets outside our kitchen window – I face it when I make supper.
