No School
Friday, January 25
The scent of this delicious hot pastry welcomed everyone to breakfast.
Because Josh is the only one who had school, we tried to structure our day to include a variety of things – starting with exercise.
Walking one mile with Leslie Sansone
The girls – Jana and Elizabeth – went grocery shopping with Grandpa.
Computer time.
Ian, Jared, and Jesse would stay here all day if I allowed it.

After lunch we planned a few meals and other activities. This is Jesse’s list. He loves to make notes and lists.
Posting the notes on the refrigerator.
A cardinal, chickadee, and red-bellied woodpecker in one shot.
The birds know that snow is coming.
It began snowing just before 4:00 p.m.
I love a no school, snowy day with grandchildren!

Beautiful bird pictures. I’m glad you had a good day with the grandkids.
@ata_grandma - It was a fun day!
Somehow, it seems our cardinals are more brilliant than ever this year. Yours?
You’ve been a busy lady!!!
@celebratinglifeandmotherhood - Yes, but its been fun.
@fwren - They are pretty this year, but I didn’t think about them being more brilliant than other years. You are probably more observant than I am.
