Hot Dogs and Spaghetti
Friday, January 25
It was Jesse’s turn to choose and help cook supper.
Elizabeth helped him make this hot dog and spaghetti meal.
They had so much fun poking the spaghetti through pieces of hot dog.
You will need a fairly large kettle.
What a fun, delicious meal.
I didn’t use a lot of water, and when the spaghetti was cooked I added some velveeta cheese.
It was a beautiful, snowy evening.
Cerwin said he could not resist these beautiful roses when he saw them at the grocery store this afternoon.
~~~
I love fresh flowers on a cold, wintery day.
That hot dog and spaghetti meal is pretty interesting!
Tell Jesse that I’d love to try that hot dog/spaghetti supper — it looks delicious! Those are lovely snow shots, but it looks cold! And what lovely flowers –you deserve those for taking such wonderful care of the kids!
@piecedtreasures - Elizabeth found the idea on the internet. It is a great idea for a child to help with a meal.
@slmret - I will have Jesse here to cook for you when you come visit.
My little ones would find that to be a very fun meal, indeed. I MUST try it with them!!
I love that Cerwin picked up those lovely roses. It does seem to be the time of year when our souls just need some freshness in flowers.
Lovely snow. Our temps. dropped down last night and we had a bright pink sky this morning…..our ponds spent so much time melting these last few days that now they are quite confused as they freeze back up.
@purpleamethyst76 - Yes, your children would enjoy helping make that meal.
What a cool meal idea!!!! My kids would love this!
