Grandchildren in the House
Continued
Jared drew the cutest fish. I photocopied a dozen extras because some of his friends wanted copies.
Jared and Jesse wanted to be hobos and sleep in a box. Ian didn’t like the idea until he saw that they could stay on the air mattress.
By the way, their parents are on a business trip to Florida.
We had three happy hobos!
Watching the video Franklin.
Jana brought this along for dessert.
This is what it looked like before baking. I forgot to take a picture after it was baked, but it still looked pretty much like this. It was sweet, gooey, and delicious.
Jordan called from work yesterday afternoon and asked if he could make steak and shrimp for us and some of the man cave guys for supper.
…like I am going to turn that down!
Peeling shrimp.
Grilling
Oh, yum!
This is why he is my favorite Jordan.

Looking forward to the day when my grandchildren will be old enough to cook for us! Well, looking forward to it, but not wishing it here too quickly; I know it will be quick enough!
@piecedtreasures - Believe me – it seems to happen so quickly.
You have the neatest Kid Ideas!!! Let me know when Jordon will be cooking again. I’LL BE RIGHT OVER!!!!!!!
@GrannyHummingbird - I’ll tell him that!
I love the idea of the kids being hobos in the basement! It’s interesting that Ian was the one that was concerned about it, though 99 I would have thought Jesse might worry about it, but Ian’s a little older!
@slmret - Actually, Jesse is lasting longer as a hobo than the other two. Ian only slept in the box one night, Jared two nights, and Jesse just slept there for the third night.
It seems you have several good, young cooks in the family! I adore shrimp, so that looked really good to me! I love the box idea! What fun!
The box beds are hilarious and the shrimp look delectable ~
@fwren - They had so much fun with the boxes, and I enjoyed the shrimp.
