Celebrating “T” With Jesse
Thursday, March 14
I was excited to go to preschool and enjoy tea with Jesse and his classmates to celebrate the “Letter T.”
Jesse wasn’t sure about having hot tea.
There were a variety of tea bags on each table. Jesse chose lemon.
While we waited for the teachers to serve the hot water, the students were asked to circle every picture that began with the letter T.
We were supposed to talk to our child about the items on the table and on each plate: teaspoon, ten tiny M & M’s, two toothpicks, three pretzels, two tiny teddy bears. There was also a pack of two Tastykakes.
The students were supposed to circle each “T.”
Jesse’s Lemon Tea
He added lots of milk and sugar, but still did not like it.
I loved my mint tea and didn’t need any milk or sugar.
Mrs. Stauffer led the students in a few songs for the parents and guests.
Each student helped to put the chairs away.
That was a fun half hour.

It’s fun to see the kids in school, learning about ‘t’!
I would say that must have been a busy half hour. But FUN!
@slmret - @rnjennison - I love seeing the creativity of teachers for young children – and old children.
