I’m not sure whether I like the female or the male cardinals best. They’re both beautiful in their own ways.
In that picture you like the best she seems to be peeking around to see if she’s still being photographed! We have a pair that have been around all winter and I get as excited about the female as I do the male — they’re both so beautiful!

@fwren - She is at the feeders a lot so I get many opportunities to enjoy her beauty.
@myhopeisinjesus - I thought about that too – and considered doing a dialogue about her posing for pictures.
she is beautiful. I have some of them who made their home next door to us. They have their nest kind of low in a bush. The neighbor put a crime tape around the bush so the yard person won’t trim that push. Now we can enjoy several of them around the outside of our house. If I run for the camera they fly off so now I don’t even try to get a photo.
