Trucks On Our Road
During the last week of March
I hope these are the last snow pictures (from March 25) for this season.
I was watching the snow when I noticed a variety of trucks going by our house.
Traffic on our road isn’t very heavy, so it’s unusual to see this many trucks in just a few minutes.
This is what life looks like at our place today – the first warm day in many months.

I delighted in spending an hour in one of our flower beds – removing leftover leaves, weeds, and twigs from the fall and winter.

Maybe the road those trucks normally would use was closed and yours was the detour? I love the first warm day after a string of cold! Now, we’ve had quite a few warm days with a cold, wet one today! Crazy April!
It’s chilly here today, and cloudy (looks like rain against the mountains), and VERY windy! We are on the back side of a storm that is centered around Las Vegas now — it will blow overnight, and then warm uup to summer temps! Crazy weather! I, too, wondered if your road had become a detour — I hope there wasn’t a bad accident on the next road!
@Richgem - @slmret - I don’t think there was a detour. I just happened to be at the window when traffic was “heavy” for our road. We are supposed to have a warm week, so hopefully I can spend more time in flower beds.
I’m glad your weather is warming up and you can get into those flower beds! We have some yard clean up to do. The wind brought down a lot of branches; one is pretty hefty! I bet our storm is the same one hitting Las Vegas.
