Visiting Amish Friends
Part 2
Saturday Evening, April 13
We spent most of the evening playing or watching Kan Jam
Diana taking her turn.
It is played with frisbees, and in this photo Diana is trying to get the frisbee in the can for two points. If it touches the can but does not go inside, the team gets one point.
Mason and Lizzie were at the opposite end.

This one went in the can without any help from Diana. Game over!

I think they played until one team got twenty-one points.
While they continued playing, some of us walked to Gideon and Lizzie’s house - across the meadow. Or you can walk out the lane and up the road.
Jess and Melanie liked the horse – and the horse was delighted to have company.

These two are best friends. Rachel said the horse even allows the pony to walk under it. She said that a horse will not usually allow something to walk under it.

We had a fabulous evening – and just before getting into our car to drive home I noticed this beautiful moon.

I did not not that horses liked human company. My wife loves horses..
