Josiah’s Injury
&
Maple Syrup
Our grandson Josiah stopped in last Wednesday afternoon when I was working outside in a flower bed.
I was a bit puzzled to see him so early in the day – then noticed that something was wrong with his left hand.
This is what it looked like a few days later. He cut his hand with a grinder wheel at work when welding.
He had a dual purpose for coming that day. This is Maine maple syrup – gathered and cooked by his mom and siblings. He had been to Maine a few days earlier.
I could hardly wait to have a pancake and maple syrup.
Thanks, Diane. It is delicious.

Ow! That looks painful!
Love that Maple Syrup.
Oh no, I am so glad he didn’t get it worse! That’s some injury!
We just got more syrup from Rich’s Dad this weekend, what a blessing to use the real stuff!
@purpleamethyst76 - Yes, we are grateful that it didn’t do any more damage than it did. I agree, it is a blessing to have real maple syrup.
@mcbery - I think the pain cam a day later, but he is doing pretty good. We are enjoying the maple syrup.
