Oh, my, I love these! Especially in the next to last, with a little bit of color, they really capture the motion of the horses. I can almost hear the clip-clop of their feet!
@slmret - It was even even prettier in person – to hear them coming up the road before they came into view.
such hushed beauty ~
Beautiful and peaceful.
@fwren - @purpleamethyst76 - I like those descriptions: hushed beauty and beautiful and peaceful.
Those are inspiring and peaceful at the same time. Thanks for sharing, Doris.
@seedsower - I missed three in a row – as those were the first ones we noticed. They had passed our house before I could get my camera.
these are very good photos
I heard of Amish Mafia but dont’ believe it.
@Texasjillcarmel - As a rule the Amish are wonderful, family people and very good neighbors. However, they are human too. I have heard about the “Amish Mafia”, but have never seen it.
I haven’t been able to get to xanga in a long time, but your mention of buggies in the mist intrigued me so much that I came–and I’m so glad I did! These pictures are wonderful! They are calming and peaceful — just what I need!
@AmericanJanet - Thanks. It is always good to hear from you or ready our posts.
