After the Beautiful Sunset
Tuesday Evening, January 8 (Continued)

A turn in the road had us facing the western sky again.
Arriving at Landis Homes where Mother lives.

When a resident saw me taking a picture of the other three, he asked if I would like to be included in the picture. He did a good job.

That was a beautiful sunset!!! And lots of good scenery to set it off. Landis Homes looks very pleasant, and I’m sure your are happy to see that Mother can walk off down the hall on her own! Wonderful photos!

@slmret - Landis Homes is a wonderful place, and yes we are glad that mother is still able to walk down the hall – whether to dinner or to visit a friend.
@cerwindoris - Oh, how nice that she still visits others — many in her situation simply hole up in their rooms, leaving themselves and others alone.
Nice pictures. It looks like she livesw in a good place.
@slmret - Mother is a real social person, and though she still loves to sew quilt tops during the day, she usually goes to the chapel when there are services, or plays games in the library each evening.
@ata_grandma - Yes, Landis Homes is a great place to live.
