A Frosty Morning
Alpacas & Holsteins
Wednesday, January 9
After my Curves workout I went home by the way less traveled – at least less traveled by me.
The sun was still giving me pretty photo ops.
The neighbor’s alpacas were looking for breakfast.
Now I’m back on the road most traveled – the one that goes by my brothers’ farm.
I thought the cows looked pretty in the frosty meadow.
For some reason this photo took me back sixty years when I used to walk by that woodlot to bring the cows in when they were in the lower meadow.
I love frosty mornings.

Frost does much the same to a beautiful scene as the fog — these are beautiful!
@slmret - Thanks!
gorgeous frosty pics, Doris ~ wondering how you managed all those photos while you were driving, though ~ if you stopped for every shot, you had a very long drive home! LOL ~ I love it ~
@fwren - I took some while driving slow, and others while stopped.
The muted colors and light are so quiet and peaceful. Thank you…wish I’d been there with you
@maryhurlbut - Now that would have been fun – having you with me!
love those scenes, especially, of the stands of trees. but, indeed, the whole lot of them takes me back to a midwest childhood, on the farm turned dairy.
@Bels_Kaylar - Thanks for the comment. I love when photos create memories.
