Friends
Elizabeth and Rachel
Rachel came to visit our granddaughter Elizabeth the other day.
As I listened to the giggles and chatter I thought, "How different the man cave sounds today."
I am used to the sounds of male voices and laughter because that room is usually occupied by our grandsons and their friends - especially weekends and evenings.
A Friend
A person who will listen and not condemn
Someone on whom you can depend
They will not flee when bad times are here
Instead they will be there to lend an ear
They will think of ways to make you smile
So you can be happy for a while
When times are good and happy there after
They will be there to share the laughter
Do not forget your friends at all
For they pick you up when you fall
Do not expect to just take and hold
Give friendship back, it is pure gold.Gillian Jones

I'm curious about the little dress in the frame on the wall ~
@fwren - Cerwin wore that when he was a baby.
How I miss girl chats with close friends! When you move to a new country, you really don't have much of a history with people. Also, the language has some interesting complications!
@DanishDoll - Yes, we sometimes take good friends so forgranted because conversation is so easy.
