Jesse’s Special Day
Tuesday, January 29
The line of cars as I waited to pick up Jesse at preschool.
Because his birthday is during the summer, he gets a special day during the school year.
He was excited to get a new coloring book and a few snacks and trinkets.
During reading time Jared often chooses something that concerns science or bugs.
On this day Ian choose his Children’s Bible.
He later came to me – with great excitement – asking if I knew that the streets of Heaven are pure gold (clear gold!). We tried to imagine what it would be like to walk or run on the streets of Heaven.
While I prepared supper, I asked them to find a book that they could read to me out loud. On the previous night they read God’s Wisdom for Little Boys.
On this night they chose God’s Wisdom for Little Girls.

These two books became a favorite for them during this stay at our house.

what children’s bible does he have? we both thought it looked like something one of our boys would enjoy!

He’s so cute. For some reason he reminds me of some of my nephews. I wonder if I mentioned that before?
